SOS Worcester exists to support the self-determination, well-being, and survival of people who use drugs and unhoused people in Worcester, MA.

SOS Worcester reaches and supports 100+ unhoused individuals each week, providing food, harm reduction supplies, camping gear, advocacy, and crisis response. SOS is on pace to distribute 3456 doses of free Narcan directly to the people who are most likely to need it by the end of the 2024. SOS offers reliable and consistent non-judgemental relationships to the most marginalized and sick people in our city. While their work goes unnoticed to most, it is a lifeline for those who have been failed by traditional systems of care. SOS Worcester operates on the belief that every person deserves dignity, safety, and support, regardless of their circumstances. By meeting people where they are and addressing their immediate needs, SOS not only saves lives but also fosters trust and community among individuals who are often stigmatized and ignored. Their work is a testament to the power of grassroots efforts to create meaningful change in the face of systemic neglect.
